Camping des Lacs is in a really green, leafy setting, in a still protected environment in the middle of nature. You will be able to discover the wonders of the natural world on foot, on horseback or by bike.
Don’t hesitate to bring your cycling equipment, the campsite offers you the possibility to store it in a special area. A horse riding centre offers horse rides and welcomes you with your horse.
Once you have chosen your means of transport, you can set off to discover the rich and wild flora, and with patience and silence you will see the fauna!

The lakes of the Haute-Charente are also home to a large number of birds, which will delight birdwatchers. Indeed, they are ideally situated in the migratory corridor of European birdlife. To make the most of the birds, an observatory (la Foucherie) welcomes you on the banks of the Lavaud lake on a land overhang and in a wooded area.
Terra Aventura
Another way to discover our beautiful region: Terra Aventura is inspired by a worldwide game called Geocaching. It is a treasure hunt that is played outdoors, using a GPS or a free mobile application. Riddles to solve, clues to find, treasures to search for… From one stage to the next, these routes of a few kilometres allow you to discover the heritage nuggets of the territory while having fun. An activity for 7 to 77 year olds! This is the ideal tourist activity to enjoy with family or friends, 365 days a year, 7 days a week, combining : SPORT, with different levels of walks, CULTURE, with the promotion of the wealth and know-how of New Aquitaine (tales and legends, art, gastronomy, …), and ADVENTURE – GAME with humorous anecdotes!
