Is the camping VACAF approved?
yes
Are pets allowed in all areas of the camping?
yes, they must be kept on a lead in all areas (including on the pitch). We happily welcome dogs and cats. There are many animals at the camping, so the risk of fights is high if pets are not kept on a lead.
Is the camping secure at night?
yes, with a warden present 24/7
Can we pay for the booking and activities with holiday vouchers?
Only accommodation services can be paid for with ANCV holiday vouchers (paper or connect).
What are the refund conditions in case of cancellation?
To be refunded in case of cancellation, you must have taken out Campez Couvert cancellation insurance. This insurance covers many situations: illness, transport problems, rescheduled leave, etc.
Is it possible to change my booking?
Yes, subject to availability. In this case, you must contact us by phone (0545318903) or by email (info@campingdeslacs.fr).
Is a deposit required?
yes: – for pitches: €20 deposit for the access badge – for rentals: €350 deposit (damage)
Aquatic areas
Is the aquatic area open in low season?
yes, it is open throughout the entire camping season.
Are swim caps and speedo-style trunks mandatory at the pool?
swim caps are not mandatory and swim shorts are permitted.
Are qualified lifeguards present by the pools?
the aquatic area is not supervised by lifeguards; only the beach is supervised in July and August.
What are the aquatic area’s opening hours?
the aquatic area is open every day from 10 AM to 8 PM.
Is the pool heated?
the indoor pool is heated throughout the season.
Is the pool accessible to visitors?
The pool is reserved for campers; visitors do not have access to the aquatic area.
Are the sun loungers free?
yes, sun loungers are available free of charge for our guests.
Surroundings
Are there hiking trails starting from the camping?
Yes, you can enjoy our beautiful countryside on foot, by bike, or even on horseback! Various distances are available with very little elevation gain.
Is the camping close to a town centre?
The camping is located in the heart of the countryside, in a privileged environment. The village of Pressignac is 5 kilometres away. The villages of Chabanais and Rochechouart, with all their shops, are located less than 15 km from the camping.
Where is the nearest tourist office located?
An information point is available at reception, and our teams are on hand to suggest all possible activities and sites to visit.
Can we reach a supermarket on foot?
The nearest supermarkets are in Chabanais and Rochechouart, less than 15 minutes away by car. You will find a small grocery store and a bread depot at reception, and near the camping, there is a snack bar and an English pub.
Is the camping served by public transport?
No, you will need to come with your own vehicle.
Cleanliness
Is a cleaning service offered for the mobile homes?
Mobile homes must be returned as clean as they were upon your arrival. They are disinfected between each guest. An optional “end-of-stay cleaning” service is also available for a fee.
Does the camping have a laundry service?
Two washing machines and a dryer are available for self-service in the toilet block in the centre of the camping (payment by credit card or via the Washin app).
Where is the nearest tourist office located?
An information point is available at reception, and our teams are on hand to suggest all possible activities and sites to visit.
Can I use my own detergent at the laundry?
No, the detergent is already integrated into the washing machine.
Lodgings
What time can I arrive?
Arrivals are from 3 PM, whether for a rental or a pitch.
Are sheets and towels included in the accommodation?
Sheets and towels are available as an option and are offered at the time of booking.
Is it possible to choose your pitch?
yes, subject to availability, and it is a free service.
Can we add a tent next to a mobile home?
yes, for an additional fee calculated based on the number of people.
Are all mobile homes air-conditioned?
None of our mobile homes offer air conditioning: this is a choice we made as part of an ecological approach.
Is the mobile home equipped with a parasol?
yes, the rentals are all equipped with parasols and they all have a covered terrace (except for a few Vintage mobile homes).
Can we park a vehicle or camper van on a pitch?
yes, the pitches are very large and allow you to park close to your accommodation.
Is there a TV in the mobile homes?
yes, all our rentals are equipped with a television.
Entertainment
Are all activities free to access and without booking?
Activities at the camping are all free to access.
From what age are children admitted to the activities?
Activities are for children aged 6 to 12.
When do the activities start in the season?
activities are offered during the French summer holidays (July and August).
Services
Can we rent bikes at the camping?
The water sports centre, located 300 metres from the camping, offers bikes of all sizes for rent.
Can I rent a baby cot or a high chair?
Baby cots and high chairs are available at reception for a €40 deposit.
Is there a nurse present at the camping with a room and first aid equipment available?
We have a first aid kit at reception as well as staff trained in first aid. A private nurse is located in Pressignac, 5 km from the camping, and the nearest doctor is based in Massignac (6 km).
Are barbecues available for rent?
You will find 5 stone barbecues at the camping for free use. You must bring your own grill (it is possible to borrow one at reception for a €20 deposit). You can also bring your own barbecue (all types of fuel allowed).
Does the catering service operate without interruption?
The snack bar “16 Beach” is open from May to mid-September, every day in July and August.
Is there a standby service in case of a problem with the accommodation?
Yes, we are on-site 24/7.
Do I need to make an appointment for the inventory check when I leave?
Yes, departures are from 8 AM to 11 AM, and you must make an appointment no later than the day before your departure.
Is there a mini-market at the camping?
A grocery store is available at the camping, at reception, open from 8 AM to 12 PM and from 3 PM to 6 PM (until 8 PM in July and August).
Is there a bread depot?
Yes, bread and pastries are available to order every morning in July and August.
How can I get the schedule or planning for the activities?
You can check the Flower app or the notice board at reception or in each toilet block.
